What Revelry does

Revelry is a booking concierge that helps you discover and request private party space at third-party bars and venues in New York City. Revelry is not the venue and does not own, operate, or control the venues listed. Pricing, availability, capacity, and policies are set by each venue and may change; figures shown are estimates until confirmed by the venue.

Requests & bookings

Submitting a request does not create a confirmed booking. We coordinate with the venue to confirm availability and final pricing. A booking is confirmed only when the venue accepts and any required deposit is paid. Deposits, minimum spends, cancellation terms, age requirements, and gratuity/tax are determined by the venue.

Request deposit

What it is. Sending a request to venues requires a refundable request deposit of $49 (the "Deposit"), paid to Revelry through Stripe. One Deposit covers one event date and up to five (5) venues. Nothing is sent to a venue until the Deposit is paid. Browsing is free.

It is credited, not extra. If you book a venue Revelry introduced you to, the full Deposit is credited against the Revelry booking fee below. If the booking fee is lower than the Deposit (or the venue is a Revelry partner venue with no booking fee), the difference is refunded.

When it is refunded in full: (a) no venue Revelry contacted can host your event on your date, or you receive no offer that matches the headcount and date you requested; (b) you book a Revelry partner venue with no booking fee; (c) you cancel your request within 24 hours of paying the Deposit, for any reason; or (d) you cancel your request more than seven (7) days before your event date, whether or not a venue has offered you a space. You can cancel at any time from the link in your confirmation email or from your account.

When Revelry may keep it: (a) a venue Revelry contacted offers you a space that matches your request, and you cancel seven (7) days or fewer before your event date; (b) a venue offers you a matching space and you do not respond to Revelry before your event date; or (c) you book a venue Revelry introduced you to directly, outside Revelry (in which case the booking fee below also remains due). In these cases the Deposit covers the work of sourcing and holding your options. Revelry reviews each of these cases individually and may choose to refund the Deposit in full at its discretion; doing so does not waive these terms for any future request.

Timing. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5-10 business days. Card-processing fees on a refunded Deposit are absorbed by Revelry.

Fees

Booking fee. Revelry charges a booking fee of 12% of the venue's quoted cost (minimum spend, per-person price, or flat rate), as shown on your quote and again before you pay. The fee is payable to Revelry, is separate from anything you pay the venue, and does not count toward your spend at the venue. Your request deposit is credited against this fee. There is no charge to browse.

When the fee is earned. The fee is earned when Revelry introduces you to a venue for your event and you go on to book that venue for that event, whether the booking is completed through Revelry or directly with the venue. By submitting a request through Revelry you agree not to use the introduction to book the venue directly in order to avoid the fee, and that if you do so within twelve (12) months of the introduction, the fee remains due and Revelry may charge the payment method on file or invoice you for it. "Introduces" means the venue was one Revelry contacted or quoted on your behalf, or that you accepted a Revelry quote for.

Refunds. The fee is refundable in full if the venue cannot honour the date you accepted. Once the venue has confirmed your date, the fee is non-refundable, including if you later cancel the event or complete the booking directly with the venue. Any refund outside these terms is at Revelry's sole discretion and does not waive these terms for any future booking.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Our records of the request, the venue introduction and your acceptance of a quote are kept and may be provided to the payment provider in the event of a dispute.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, to be of legal age for the venue, and to comply with venue rules and applicable laws. You are responsible for your guests' conduct at the event.

The site is provided "as is." Revelry is not responsible for the on-site experience, venue acts or omissions, or any loss arising from your event, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
